City of San Joaquin
The City of San Joaquin is a farming community with a population of 3,570, and is located thirty miles west of Fresno. It was incorporated on February 14, 1920. Cotton is the major commodity in the area, along with various other crops. San Joaquin is the center link, as Manning Avenue connects Highway 99 with Interstate 5. This connection attracts business and promotes growth to the area.
